Default pot control?

this may not be the best example of a thin 'pot control' situation, but its a hand i played today so there you go.

i am looking for some feedback on the whole pot control issue. are there any good links?

anyways the hand:

villain is 45/9/3.5 over 175 hands.

is this guy so loose that this turn is an auto bet? what if he was 15/9.

i like value betting my one pair hands when i know i can fold to a check raise. could i do the same here or do i not have enough data?

I'd say you have plenty of data to just go balls out and try to get stacks in, here.

Vs this guy, I'd bet $45 and shove any non-spade river.

Vs the nittier guy, pot control makes a lot more sense, since he's not showing up with nearly as many weaker Qs and other donkey hands that he might stack off with, and at the same time, even nitty guys will often bluff their missed FD on the river here, or vbet KQ or something.

I like betting the turn against this guy, and checking against the tighter guy.

I'd keep going vs this guy. I'd go bigger than $45 tho, something in the $50's...

Because I'm stacking off here with bet/bet/bet. And the times he has spades I want to get that extra bit of turn value that I won't get on the river when he folds.

My thinking is that the smaller bet gives him a little more rope to make plays when he has spades, or whatever other garbage he may have.

Not to mention, we might get an extra street of value from an 8 that we might not get with a bigger bet.

Maybe I'm overestimating his agroness? Is my trap too obvious?

He doesn't have implieds to call that $45 bet, regardless.

so basically because this guy sucks at poker, i need to bet and call a c/r on the turn?

is there any spade card that can replaces say the eight on the board that would prevent us fro getting all on w a turn bet?

see what concerned me was at this point was that his agg factor is almost meaningless after only 175 hands.
