I'm sure there'll be somebody who can be bothered to write up a quick script and make a mint off all the players that'll hit PS sometime in the next few days here.

P.S. To aformentioned dude, if you charge more than $20 you are a total bastard.

Can someone detail exactly what this program would do? I could probably make it if the money was there.

They are allready out there... only problem is that datamining is specifically banned on Stars:

Q. May I use a permitted program to record information about players from hands in which I am not playing?

A. No. You may only collect hand histories and player information from hands in which you are a participant.

The one that is probly most well known gets sold for $50.

But yeah, definitely not allowed by PokerStars.

OP, Yes there is. Grow a sac and stop relying on your crutch. You new breed of ESPN inspired pokertracker bots are easily recognizable and predictable players.

Has anybody ever got his funds confiscated because of mining?
Would they give you a last warning like Party used to do?

i've seen posts from Stars where they say they haven't and do not plan on banning/confiscating players who are doing personal datamining. they just look down on such software.
