I'm going to guess AK, or AQ. Maybe JJ(although unlikely given your hand).Maybe even TT. I wouldn't think it's a hand that can beat yours, if it was he would want a little bit of action, and raise that much preflop. I guess it depends on how he plays. But my first guess is AK.

If this were a 6.50, I would fold. I think there are better spots to get my money in. If I were to call, I would expect to see Ax 60%, 22-1010 20%, and complete air 20%.

Fold. Let villain self destruct if he does not have at least AKs, AA, KK, QQ with that kind of a raise from UTG.

So you think there's a better spot than when you're guaranteed to have at least a 2:1 advantage? Pray tell...when would that be?

Yeah - people are giving this low buy-in donk farrr too much credit on his range.

I have a pre=defined range in my head for crap similar to this at this level - but the 14x (rather than a mere 6-10x) really threw me off

He showed (by choice or by showdown) and I was surprised, honestly.

I'll let others discuss some more before I say the types of hands this is usually

I do that with AA and KK at lower buyins and expect 2 callers more than half of the time.
