raise pf. u have the button and a very easy position hand

as played, i guess i wud just call the CO and play out. raising, and then CALLING another raise = asking to get slaughtered. (so fold when 3b)

Raise preflop definitely. without reads i think this is a fairly easy turn fold. I recently converted from limit as well. welcome and gl.

I made the transition from Limit to NL like 9 months ago and had really some problems in the beginning. In Limit, you would ve had to call just one more bet on the flop, that's most of the times an easy call with a hand like this in Limit. In NL, I think split suit is completely right, you should ve folded to the three bet. The problem is that with calling, the pot gets quite big and on turn, you re in a world of pain when villain bets again and you pretty much have to lay down then anyway. It's crucial to quit marginal hands as early as possible in NL when you think you re behind as it gets really expensive when you start calling people down and you really don't want to be a calling station!

Ok, ty for answers. What would be a good raise then, 3$ or 4$(3 limpers)? Think I def limp too much in nl, kinda like the hit big, win big scenarios. But then i get lost in hands like this were i hit, but not big enough.

I'd go $4 for the PFR to price out low pairs. If you get the CO calling then your stack/pot is around 7 so could help you to commit all-in to top pair, and inhibits the implied odds for draws.
