not positive for the other sites but Im pretty sure its the same

so its allowed by the site, the ethics of it are debated plenty of people on each side, no real concensus from what I can tell, though seems to lean towards the side that it is ethical from what I remember

general concensus is that it's fine. everyone knows that they might be playing against GimmeNutz with Phil Ivey telling him what to do, or jsut playing PHil Ivey on GimmeNutz account. it's just something everyone has to realise at all times playing online. you never know who you are playhing against.

There are a ton of awful coaches out there, be sure you are getting a good one. Doesn't whitelime coach? I think he lives in NYC.

FWIW, it isn't necessary that your coach lives where you do. Skype and/or aim make it very easy to be coached while playing online.

wolf...i post a bunch on this site and coach, as well. i think i could help you because i actually made the transition from live to online (was a live player before i was an online player, but i still play a lot of both) so i understand a lot of the nuances and differences. let me know. of the people who coach who live in nyc (if you don't want me), i'd recommend the following in order:
