AA in late position with a limper or two in front.

[/ QUOTE ]

AA in position with 4 all ins?

[/ QUOTE ]

No thats a fold obv

[/ QUOTE ]

If I had 4BB i wouldn't care if the entire table called and I had AA.

[/ QUOTE ]

Obv I might have been kidding IMO...

I agree with everyone else that the question is very situation dependent. If the blinds are known tight players pushing ATC from the CO or Button may work. Then again there is always that time BB wakes up with that AA

i like the "waited too long to make a stand" answer.

Ok, then, let's assume you're at that last stand point for
your qualifications then. That would be... 8xBB ?

Is this an auto PF shove then? Under what conditions?

remember, i'm thinking you only have 2 orbits left before
you are blinded out....

Say you have 2000 left and the blinds are at 200/400.

You don't have time to wait for AA.
You have to pick a spot and go for it.

Personally, my top choice is to push all-in on
an unraised pot with any pocket pair, hopefully,
in LP. I'd prefer the BB NOT to be on the monster stack,
but on some middle or above stack who would be crippled
if he called and lost.

The mentality changes against small and huge stacks.
A huge stack may say "what the heck... i got chips to
gamble with..." and call with ATC. And a small stack
may say "any isolation play is a good one" and call.

I'm not sure I want calls... I'll be happy with the
blinds and antes.

[/ QUOTE ]

wrong mentality...most hand you push here you want calls..you're too short for just blinds/antes to help much...you need double ups and if you push a pp you want a race to accumulate more chips

I was going to ask this question today. Last night i was at the ft of one of the daily doubles with a severe short stack compared to the rest of the table. I have about 6 bb's and antes are killing me too. It folds around to me in the co and i have a6 with the chips leader being in the bb. Is this a automatic shove??

should they also be distinct colors,
like spades and hearts,
diamonds and clubs?

or do you find that divine intervention is not
dependent upon colors, as long as they're unsuited?
