NL 200 Medium Flush
6 handed. No reads.
Hero (205) open raise 8d9d on the btn. SB (277) calls. Flop: (18) [4h Td 2d] SB checks, I bet 14. He calls Turn: (46) Jd SB checks, I bet 24. He raises to 86. Hero? I felt like I made a mistake here but I'm not sure, wanna hear what you guys would do. |

Re: NL 200 Medium Flush
You played it fine. Standard button raise, standard Cbet, standard turn bet (although I might bet a little more). Without any reads, I think I shove here. Villian prob. would have 3-bet PF with AdKd and AdQd. So, KdQd and MAYBE Ad7d is the only hands he could have cold called PF raise with and have a higher flush. I think a set is much more likely.

Re: NL 200 Medium Flush
Call and get it all in on the river.
EDIT: On further reflection, that's a dumb idea. Just shove. |

Re: NL 200 Medium Flush
Hero only has about $100 left after calling turn bet, with $218 in pot

Re: NL 200 Medium Flush
"I think a set is much more likely."
Yeah, because there's no reason for him to put me on a flush. He has to raise with a set there imo. But I acted too quickly on this hand, didn't really think it thru... "Call and get it all in on the river" That's what I planed, I still had like 100 behind if I called his turn raise, and didnt feel like he would bluff me on the river. So I called his bet and the river is the 6 of diamonds. He insta pushed and I folded. I really think I should have pushed turn. My bet looks kinda weak and it's likely that he has a set or Top two. |
