I was just reading today in Maxim or some magazine that Michael Irvin had a hit put out on him back in '96, and the downpayment was like $2,900. So if the typical DP is 10% then you're looking at $30K for a celebrity, championship-ringed crackhead .

This was pretty standard in the 90's. I cant imagine it being any more than 10k.
