Default ACEHUD

IS there any posts on how to use Poker Ace Hud. Basically I want to know what i hsould set my prefrences too. IF I open four tables on P stars and go away will it collect data from the players before I sit down?

I've read some posts about data mining and I'm not sure how it works.

PokerTracker collects the data and analyzes it, PokerAce displays the data from your PokerTracker database.

No it will only collect data on Stars for hands you were involved in. PS does not allow datamining. It will not even collect the hand data for hands played while you are waiting for the BB or even hands where you are sitting out.

so are the acehud VPIP/PFR/AF numbers based on PT or on the previous hands?

For example there's a guy I played today. ACEHUD said his VPIP was 46 and PT says his VPIP is 100% and it only counts four hands. Surely the ACEHUD was based on something else right?

I am not sure about this but I understand the only PAHUD can get stats is from your own PT database. Someone else may set me straight as I use GT+ right now.

I would think the VPIP shown on your HUD should be a mirror image of your VPIP in your PT database.

Do you have a filter in PT turned on that could be skewing your numbers?

PAHUD read the stats from your PT database. Maybe your database prefrences were set to only display the hands you'd played today or this month, in which case # would be different since PAHud will read from all hands in the database.

Or, if you use the "sit here" feature in stars to change where your seat shows up on the screen, you need to do something in PAHud to make the stats realign for everyone, otherwise it will show stats based on the seating arrangement when you sat down, and not adjust for everyone shifting over.

Can you or someone elaborate on what exactly one has to do? I haven't been able to figure out how to fix the display after I rotate a table on Stars with the Sit Here feature.

I don't use this, but I imagine it has something to do with the "preferred seating" tab on PAHUD under the poker stars preferences. You need to sit at the same seat all the time for it to work.

Assuming by "sit here", you are talking about "preferred seating".
What is the purpose of the "preferred seating" feature?

Easier for me to look at the same seat on each table I have open than different seats at each table. Once you sit at the table it moves you to your preferred seat and moves the other players around accordingly.
