Default Table Selection

I ussually just sit on the first table I double click on. This doesn't seem like the most optimal strategy. What things should I look for in a game? Would I look for something different in NLHE than EOB?

Look for tables with high % to see the flop. Usually means alot of limpers are playing so you can boss the table by playing aggressive. It works for me.

FWIW that post I wrote is full ring limit based but much of the content, especially up to the examples, should apply to other games both fullring and shorthanded.

theres been interest in getting it tailored other forms of the game (eg Limit6max, NL Full ring and/or 6max) so if you think you can have a decent go at it then please PM me. thx

As you are playing a table keep an eye on other tables. it is +ev to up and leave if there is a better table available. Also be aware as you are playing your table to change seats to a more profitable seat. ie left of loose aggressive player.
