Default Few marginal mistakes = big one? AK 25nl

Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

MP: $18.30
Hero (CO): $30.45
BTN: $7.35
SB: $24.75
BB: $9.90
UTG: $36.70

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO)
2 folds, Hero raises to $1, BTN calls $1, 2 folds

Flop: ($2.35) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $1.50, BTN calls $1.50

Turn: ($5.35) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2, Hero calls $2

River: ($9.35) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.85 and is All-In, Hero calls $2.85

I'm not particularly happy the way I play this hand, but can anyone give me their opinion of it its absolutely terrible?

On the turn its a bit marginal. I don't have many outs (I'm counting 10, 2's, K's, A's as I think I'm up against a hand like QJ, JT. TPW/GK. I need about 27% equity to make this call and I'm being layed 22%. I think implied odds can satisfy this.

On the river again, seems like weak pot odds still make it perhaps right to call. I have to be right about 1/4 times, perhaps a fold there.

Opinions?

I'd bet more on the flop, but 1.50 is ok I guess.
Fold turn

Not much, but do you only bet 1.50 in this spot when you have AJ here, you give him too good odds to make the spade flush

1/2.6 Isn't good odds for calling for a flush.

Sorry not trying to come across as argumentative, just want to discuss what you're saying.

I don't really want him to fold a flush draw, just call down with incorrect odds.

I'm going to come across as really arrogant here, and its not meant to, I know I'm the one asking for opinions here.

But betting $2 instead changes the implied odds how if thats what its relying on to make the call?

I'm off the hand on the turn. A's / K's on river aren't necessarily clean outs w AJ/KJs being strong possibilities here.

No reads = fold for me

AJ looks quite likely here actually.

Be wary of counting outs as 'outs to the nuts'.

Why do you put him on KJ/QJ as opposed to AJ?

if the turn blanks you can put in a pot sized bet again and now his odds SUCKS, just because you were smart enough to bet more on the flop.

btw, just a pleb here, but I'm much more likely to call $1.5 flop bet than $2 flop bet w 67s.

Am I right to say you're folding to a spade on the turn here?
