i have poker tracker and poker hud set up so i can now see the % of hands my opponets now play. I was wondering could any one tell me what these hands are, so if my oppents plays 20% of his hands what are the top 20% hands?
i now they could be playing any 20% but what are to top 20% etc. |

Re: % of hands
Go get Pokerstove. You can calculate pot equity based on people's hand ranges, and there's a place where you can use a slider bar to set hand ranges to any 'top xx%' and see which hands are included.

Re: % of hands
I agree that Poker Stove will tell you the actual top 20% but remember PAHUD is only telling you that villain is playing 20%. Not necessarily the right 20%
You still gotta watch for their starting hands at showdown and make notes. |

Re: % of hands
VPIP% and PFR% are averaged hands across every position. Most players will play for more hands from the cut off and button.
Also, if you go into PokerStove and select the top 20% of hands it will give you a range of: 66+,A4s+,K8s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s,A9o+,KTo+,QTo+,JTo Now, lets say you know your opponent plays 20% of his hands. You can be fairly sure it isn't this 20% of hands. I.e. this 20% does include small pockets or suited connectors. When interpreting VPIP and PFR you need to take many other factors into account. |
