I know the final table was blocked off to the general public bc of the broadcast on WSOP.com. However, is there a reason websites such as Cardplayer weren't allowed to give hand by hand updates? Cardplayer used to do updates almost every hand of every final table. Maybe its because they are running 50000 events per day this year, but it seems like their coverage is really slacking this year.

Bluff won the rights to do live updates for WSOP events, CardPlayer was limited to providing only hourly updates.

i'm sure he's entered many more than both of them, but it is not like chan and brunson didn't have the opportunity. similarly hank aaron had many more at-bats than babe ruth but he is still the home-run king.

(umm we'll pretend bonds never cheated for this analogy)

Really? Even though Doyle has been playing WSOp events since the early 70s? And both him and Chan seem to hit quite a few events every year?
