Way to waste your last timeous, ensuring no chance of getting the ball back with time.

Coaches are so retarded.

[/ QUOTE ]

agree with both you and Pudge

announcers backed them up as well...sigh

Do the refs intentionally not place the ball/start the play clock? That was ridiculous.

yep....I believe I read that the NCAA wants to see the ball placed within 8-13 seconds after the end of the previous play

they are rarely at the low end of that range

Oh I hate these announcers.
Play 1: "Boy, if BC had some decent wide receivers Ryan would be DYNAMIC"
[Ryan uncorks a flutterball 10 yards out of bounds]
Play 2: [Ryan misses a wide open WR]
"Wide receiver turned around too late"

Play 3: [Ryan throws a game ending INT]
Silence.

All,

Two things.

1: I found it annoying that they went on so much about the interception being the big defensive play to stop the drive on the 4th and 4. How is grabbing that duck a big deal? The pressure and coverage were the real defensive keys, not the interception.

2: Wow, what a tackle earlier in that drive. Watched that a few times. So rare to see open field arm tackles like that.

They also beat this same Virginia Tech team in pretty dramatic fashion earlier this year. Their two losses were against mediocre teams, "big games" weren't their problem.
