Tough spot.

You shouldn't really be worried about AQ/AK, obviously moreso the 10. Check-calling probably will induce semi-bluffs from flush draws or bluffs with air and you will probably get a little more value against a worse AX on the river.

What do you think about betting a little more on the flop with such a drawy heavy board??? Making it 300 or so might make it a little bit more difficult for him to flat with TX and might encourage him to either fold a draw or play it more aggressively.

I would c/r AI here, I think he would check a T very often when you check here on the turn (correctly putting you on an A) so if he bets your likely ahead of his range. If it goes chk chk I would block 250 on the river and fold to the push.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't TX one of the hands that you want to try to keep in if at all possible?

And people generally don't seem to want to fold flush or straight draws on the flop no matter how much you bet.

I guess I wasn't clear enough. I mean betting more would make it more difficult for villain to flat call these type of hands and he would have to make the decision to raise or fold. Obv you are right that, "people generally don't seem to want to fold flush or straight draws on the flop no matter how much you bet." I just think villain will be more likely to raise/shove a draw when we lead 300 or so instead of half pot.

Edit: I didn't mean to say we don't want him flatting 10X in my first post. I'm more concerned with encouraging villain to play draws more aggressively. I'm sure BCM has an aggro image most likely, so villain shouldn't automatically put him on AX.

I completely disagree with my earlier post, didnt realize the exact stack situation, I can reasonably see c/f, push, b/c being good lines here, depends completely on what happened earlier in the match IMO. That way you have a good feel if he ever has stuff like AK, flush draws or like A3 here which are extremely important to this decision.

On the flop , I bet more considering that it's a 3-bet pot with top pair , good kicker . If a psb gets called , then be very concerned that you're being set up here .

Think about it in reverse .

If I were in my opponent's shoes and called a preflop 3 bet and a flop bet , then there is a great chance I can beat a-j ott .
