I disagree. Rep Porter is a cool name that would capture the imaginations of young players, just like 'Moneymaker'. Rep Porter could start the next reporter boom.

I'm not talking about who will be entertaining TV. Obviously if ESPN does a good job of editing they can make people stars by the FT. I'm just talking name recognition.

[/ QUOTE ]
On name recognition to the public who are not hardcore followers...ESPN will have to do a great job in the cutting room.

I agree, this final group is very light on star-power.

I just watched the pokernews interview with rainkhan and was suprised at how cool he is based on the fact you guys all say he will come across as a d-bag. anyway, I am rooting for him now, he's clearly awesome.

does anybody ever lay down a hand?????

Hyon Kim Doubles Up Through William Spadea

Under the gun, Spadea raised to 85,000 and, from the big blind, Kim moved all-in for 725,000. Spadea made the call with pocket Jacks, but Kim had the bigger pair in Kings. The {3-Spades}{Q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} board gave the pot to Kim, who is now up to 1.7 million. Spadea slipped to 2.2 million.

Richard Murnick Doubles Through Jeff Tunkel

Jeff Tunkel raised to 75,000, Richard Murnick moved all in for 741,000 and Murnick called. Tunkel turned over {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, while Murnick flipped up {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}. The board came {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Murnick doubled up to 1.6 million. Tunkel's stack fell to 2.2 million.

From J_V's busto post in BBV

"This 21 year old kid Dag, played the sickest 10 hours of poker I've ever seen. He ran over a table like I've never seen before. He might be able to read souls. I'd back that kid with every dollar I own in any event he ever wanted to play."
