I have not read the last few posts because I am working. I did want to say this though.

Nich is absolutely renowned for never surrendering as a wolf. If he's peeked as a wolf, he fights with the very last drop of blood to stay alive, no matter how unbelievable or outrageous his claim, right up until nightfall or he has to go home to his wife, whichever comes first. He is so dedicated to it that he lives for days.

So, why is he accepting this with complete equanimity? What does he know that we don't?

The thing I'm struggling with is books' reason for peeking nich. I mean, wtf. I haven't played with nich much, but he's been pretty quiet early when I have. If I was peeking someone as potentially evil, I wouldn't have picked him.

if you respect nich as a ww player, i think we need to assume that he would mix up his game for the purpose of having someone who pays attention like vr speak up an clear him for it!

I'm not clearing him. But it makes me uneasy. It's kind of like the feeling I had about MarkK's powerclaim in Halloween. It just seemed too good to be true, the obvious answer to all our prayers.

It seems too easy to lynch books today, and it seems out of character for nich and it all seems too tidy.

I'm pretty paranoid in games when I don't know all the roles and powers. I'm looking for the tarp.
