You're the aggressor pre flop so AA,QQ,AK,AQ etc are all big parts of your range. Give him the tough decision. If he wwants to play back at you he's basically going to have to risk all his chips.

Bet/Fold about $50

So, we're basically turning our hand into a bluff. A bluff which I might add never folds out a better hand, and almost never gets a call by worse.

if we had a read or had some idea of what he'll do if we check, then yeah, cbetting would be bad. But since we have no idea, i think the least worse option is just to cbet.

If we check he can lead at us with his entire range and we have no clue where we stand.

if he's betting at us everytime we check the best play by far is to check.

Yes but this is player dependant and we have no idea about this guy.

Checking just asks him to bet at us and then what do we do with no reads out of position in an inflated pot?

C-Bet makes our hand so much easier to play.

I agree with ikestoys, without any reads I think c-betting is best. Only needs to be about $42 or so.
Imo checking will put you in a far more difficult spot.
