Re: NL600 JJ oop cbet got minraised
this is just about my most hated spot in poker. Just think level upon level as to what he might be doing until your head explodes.... that's the way I play it at least.

Re: NL600 JJ oop cbet got minraised
My thoughts:
Villain limps behind an UTG fish-limper. Villain seems to be somewhat solid, maybe not the best but well. I assume that he isolates the fish VERY frequently w/ playable hands. Only hands that come into my mind that he wants to play against the fish w/o raising is either a small pocketpair like 22-55 or suited connector. => Villain either has the 9 (and therefore 5 outs with e.g. 98s, T9s, 97s etc.)or a smallish PP (2 outs). So my play is basically to call the minraise and call him down. I just can't see him having an A here ever. Any better ideas? |

[/ QUOTE ] To elaborate, villain only has two outs with 98, 97, etc. Only a nine gives him a better hand than you b/c Aces and Jacks trumps Aces and Nines... I really hope this was just a careles mistake on your part... |
