[/ QUOTE ] I guess it seems to me like this wouldn't be incredibly hard to do for someone who is in reasonably good shape. 1,000 total/6 hours = 166.67 push-ups per hour That equals roughly about 2.8 push-ups per minute or one every 20 seconds. If he started the first bunch doing one per 1-2 seconds, he'd be ahead of the game within a short amount of time.

Srsly you would need to be in amazing shape to do this, as dude in OP obviously was.
