Al, assuming you are taking this from SS1, he is referring to a 7SH/L where there is no low qualifier; 2nd best high has a fine chance of winning, so long as you guess correctly which way your opponent(s) are going, and picking the one they won't. I think that would play different than any of todays poker - his game was predicated on knowing villain hole cards + wrecking them with math. As far as i know, isn't spread anymore.
