Default *RESULTS*

thanks for all the replies.

when i played the hand, like i said in the OP, i dont really remember villian and didnt have stats, he seemed looseish pf, but hadnt seen a river against me yet on the table.

given that read, i think a turn bet is superior to a check.

to those that said that i should check against benkot bc he wont fold an overpair there ever, you were correct.

against a non retard, i think you have to bet/call that turn, as they will fold an overpair a pretty decent % of the time, and if they dont, I am in okay shape against AA/KK, , hurting a bit against QQ, but well ahead of spades.

as far as the flop is concerned, sometimes i call there, sometimes i raise.

his gay flop bet convinced me to raise, as i dont want button or SB to CR big a hand like JT/J9/78 etc, thinking we are weak and having no clue where im at.

in the actual hand, i bet $800 on the turn, he thinks a while and pushes 900-1k more.

bad news, he had QQ. good news, he spikes a set on the river. gg.

and like LA said, i think a push is more likely to get called on the turn than a pot sized bet, and id likely do that with a set or made straight.

Both of you claim push is more likely to get called, yet both of you would be pushing with a set/straight, not betting pot. I understand you think you are exploiting them but I think a LOT of people are jamming those hands in this spot, and villain is more likely to put it in your mouth if you bet pot or less here than if you just push.

IMO they are more likely to muster the balls to push the rest in hoping you were bluffing than if you just shove all of it in. Pretty player dependent though.

Gotta go with prev on this, but its certainly player dependent as he said.
