Default Plr/Flp On FTP, UB and Stars

I primarily play at FTP and Absolute, but I've heard people who play at stars, ftp and ub regard the three as at least in same range of toughness.

Then when i check the plr/flp pct a lot of tables are 27-44 pct at NL 1/2 at ftp, even higher at UB,but NL 1/2 at stars is routinely at like 22 pct or even in the teens.

How are these games not a lot tougher, what is balancing factor im missing?

I do not know how Stars/FTP calculates players/flop but UB's is misleading/incorrect. They only count hands that actually went to a flop - so it's minimum 33% for a 6-handed table, 40% for 5-handed, etc.. You'll notice all the heads up tables are 100% players/flop.
