shove- you might get a fold from JJ and you might get a call from AK...and you get rid of all his [censored] KQss hands or whatever that arent putting any more money in unless they hit.

does anything change for you if it's rainbow flop instead of 2 tone?

i know its possible that sum1 lays down jacks and another calls with ak but to say that u should shove because the best and most unlikely outcome (laying down jacks and calling with ak) will prob happen seems to be wrong. I shouldnt have said contradiction but rather overly optimistic/naive.

Firstly, just cause i layed down jj in another hand in a multi-way pot and a massive overbet doesnt mean that sum1 is gonna be laying down jj in this spot, especially since id consider myself much tighter than most when it comes to stacking off.

And as for this hand, shoving will never get called by hands u beat and saying that its the right move cause ull get called by ak and make jj lay it down sometimes is naive. I almost never c villains at these stakes shoving the turn with ak or aq high so if he does shove - u know ur beat and can lay it down and save urself some money.

also, u even say that kqss type hands arent putting any more money in the pot unless they hit - so just reinforcing fact that u may as well save urself some money as he prob wont bet unless he has something which will obviously beat us.

yeah if i got to the flop, i would be shoving here almost always, but i would rather pick a little bit better hand to call this 3 bet preflop with.

y do so many ppl wanna shove this flop? ur almost never getting called by worse or making a better hand lay it down, i really dont c the logic in shoving at all, maaaybe oop (which still isnt great since a lot of aq/ak ppl check behind) when u might get outplayed by ak/aq if u check the turn and he is aggro/good but in position u can get away from it for so much cheaper if he keeps betting.
