Default new to the forums... can someone explain the forum lingo?

Hey 2+2ers,

I'm a new poster to these forums, but I've been reading them for about three weeks now. I guess I'll give a description of my poker background before I ask my question:

Been playing poker for about 4 years. I started off playing $5 or $10 buy-in no limit holdem with my high-school friends the year before we all went to college, and I've continued to play micro-stakes with my friends. I turned 21 earlier this year and have played twice in a B&M setting (people play crazy there omg). I feel like I have an low-level intermediate (got a 103 on the donkey test IQ thing) understanding no limit holdem, and i'm new to limit holdem. I've got a full tilt account, poker tracker, finished reading SSLHE, a few weeks experience at .25/.50 limit on FTP, and the drive to improve my game. This is why I have decided to join this forum. On to my question...

I'm having trouble sometimes understanding some of the abbreviations/lingo used to describe actions/scenarios. I tried to look around the forum for descriptions of terms like c-bet, a 20/10/.2 player (poker tracker something or other?), etc. to no avail. Should i make a list of terms i am not familiar with, or does a thread exist which has definitions for all of these? Thanks guys. I look forward to learning a lot in the future.

cbet is continuation bet, ie you raised preflop and cbet the flop.

the numbers usually deal with poker tracker

if you post a list i'm sure guys will respond with what they mean

Read the stickies. Mucho good info in there including all the acronyms you need to understand.
