I doubt it. They aren't blocking the hard core porn sites and...

Open the Party Client->Help->Network Status
Make sure www.partypoker.com is highlighted and click the 'trace' button.

It will show you every 'hop' from you to www.partypoker.

Mine stops at 'ge1-1.mcirt1.mohawk.ca'

The 'ca' is Canada, and I'd guess the 'mohawk' is on the reservation in Canada where the poker computers are.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Definitely some kind of problem routing form this cable network..

With the help of a Shaw cble tech, I was able to start reaching ww.pokerstars.com by setting a proxy server (proxy.VC.shawcable.net). I don’t know of a way to do that with the poker software.

I then tried connecting toa VPN (Virtual Private Network) in Edmonton, that I use for work and then I ran the PokerStars program… and it worked… just before I was blinded out completely in my tourney

Just got off the phone with a tech from Shaw Cable in Vancouver, and he looked into the trace, and he came back and said it stopped at the mohawk.ca server, so it must be down and be the cause of all this crap...time for bed I guess.
