Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: September**
+$400 on the day at $50 NL... guess I can't complain about that. Not to mention that I was 0/4 in 200BB pots with KK today, and I believe just about all of them I had an overpair.

Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: September**
Wow, $3.40 turbo tournaments on stars are the softest game on the internet. I must have played around 40 give or take 7ish and am up $80. Seem to cash in about half of them. My roll is now back up to above where I donked it off in 25nl two days ago, lol. Maybe I should stop donating my winnings for a while and focus on these? Heh.
Play tight early. Open push level 4+ type region with decent hands in later postion when short, sit tight on big stack and don't use it as a weapon. Then play tight on bubble, general rule--unless you are in the 1/10 tournaments with tight people on bubble in which stealing is good. Definitely not good to finish 4th. Once out of bubble blinds usually high and just start pushing light, most players wait for big hands to call lol. Some call ATC in the money with small blind sizes. Watching players push and call itself is priceless. |

Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: September**
I'm -2bi at 50nl over like 1k hands, but people seem worse than at 25nl. Maybe it was just the sampling of fishies I found tonight(luckboxes>me ldo) but I felt like I really had their number. Lost 1 bi all in on the flop with 15 outs, lost another one with OESFD on flop and obv missing.
Ah well. I feel like I can totally beat this level. |

Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: September**
Ok I just got a brand new pc, and a new desk. That should bring me some good luck right?
Anyways I got quite the opposite again (TT vs QsAc on a Tc7c3c board allin, my tens didn't hold up, 2pair vs a straight draw allin, no good either) I think I played most hands perfectly though, except for one hand: I sit in the BB with $200 SB just took a seat and bought in full ($100) and I have no hands on him I get QJo everyone folds, SB completes, I raise it up to $4, he calls, board comes: 3JJ rainbow SB bets $3, I make it $11, he calls Turn is a 6s, flushdraw out there now He bets $25, I call River is a blank, he checks, I bet $30, he goes allin. What should I do here? Except not make that river bet ofc. Only $40 left to call. |

Yo kabouter!
I dont know if you heard about it yet, but Holland Casino Scheveningen is opening up a whole new floor with about 10 extra poker tables! They are supposed to add more low NL cash games there (I hope $100nl) and a lot more SNGs. It open on Oct. 5th. Wanna go there sometime when its open? New comp is nice... Im still trying to get by with a 4year old computer lol. |

Engineering. What do you mean de-stress? [/ QUOTE ] If things are stressing you out in your day job, it'll likely carry over to your poker that session, ie playing tired, procrastinating homework, roommate that just crossed the line the upteenth time. You gotta do something like workout, catch a nap, pull a prank on your roommate to buffer out the stressful stuff so you can concentrate on making +ev plays |

Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: September**
I know we have a thread for "standard?" questions. Somewhere. But since I have no clue where it might be (despite the search function) and this really doesn't need it's own thread ...
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG ($64.50) MP ($20.95) CO ($62.65) Hero ($68.85) SB ($48.80) BB ($48) Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, 2 folds, BB checks. MP 49/2/1.1/60 CO 35/4/3.8/55 SB 16/5/2.5/54 BB 27/19/9/64 Standard fold? I'm asking because this is usually an easy raise for me, but especially MP hates folding and I'm a bit confused about how many opportunities to steal blinds we may give up before it becomes -EV.
