I raise somewhere in this hand. Turn especially when it looks like UTG can have Aces and Jacks or 222.

my initial reaction: "zomg u flopped 5 of a kind"

some things you might consider:
1) this is an 8-way pot pf. anyone could have anything.
2) the button flatcalls two potsize bets. are there any mega combo draws out? this is a limped pot. what did doyle brunson say about limped pots?
3) put yourself in the button's shoes. do you think the other two people who are pot-betting and calling two streets are drawing, either?
4) i can understand trying to get value out of your set, but you have to find out where you're at somewhere along the line. fine, you have second set, and there's pretty much zero chance of anyone holding AA, but you better hope for a river board pair, which doesn't come, and now you have to fold.

this stinks like 45. what else do you think he has here? aces up flat calling the turn? the line you took makes you look pretty weak, so as played, you're getting closer to a call, but i don't like it much. mind you, i don't know much, either.

First, I like your smooth call PF with pocket quads. It's good for deception . That being said, I'm probably in favor of raising that turn. If the guy behind you cold calls and UTG calls as well, I'm hitting my knees praying for a paired board on the river (or if the poker gods smile, the 6th trey in the deck), because you are almost certainly behind. As played, you kinda sorta have to fold that river. You're only getting 2.4-1 or so on that call so you only have to win 30% of the time here, but I dont think you're good that often. This reeks of 45 or A2 of spades (that one isnt terribly likely though). I suppose he could have trip deuces, but thats all you beat here.

would you care to elaborate on what precisely makes this a SNAP call? aside from your posting name, that is.. jokes. do you really think given the action he's shoving stuff like top two on this board?
