Re: Is Mike the Mouth the best player on HSP right now?
Mike seems like he can easily be trapped. There were a couple hands where he limpraised alot with medium pocket pairs oop, that is just asking for trouble. I think one of his main problems is his unwillingness to give up on a pot and continue bluffing at it. aka: the matusow blowup I think once he gets caught bluffing on HSP we are going to see him take a little trip to tiltville on a whole other note it looked like mike was going to cry when daniel n. was making fun of him for being broke. I think he is depressed about the fact that so many of his peers in poker are getting rich and he continues to stay busto |

[ QUOTE ] I wonder what Chris Moneymaker is doing right now... [/ QUOTE ] Spending his millions... [/ QUOTE ] Moneymaker never had millions to spend. By the time he paid off his backers and taxes he had to be well under 1 million for his WSOP win. RZ |

Raymer has stated that Moneymaker makes a ton of $ away from the tables.

Raymer has stated that Moneymaker makes a ton of $ away from the tables. [/ QUOTE ] I would tend to agree with that because MM was the catalyst for the poker craze. I'm sure he had lots of offers for a couple years after his win. It's probably died down quite a bit now though since he hasn't been able to duplicate his run at the 2003 ME. |
