Re: $16 AK too dangerous with a c-bet?
Ok, but we must make a 2/3 pot-sized bet on the flop

Re: $16 AK too dangerous with a c-bet?
As played, bet t160 on flop and check/fold river. I might be nitty, but i dislike raising AK preflop in the early blindlevels at $6.50 and $16.

You are nitty. Bet the flop (i like a slightly bigger than a 1/2 PSB)

Re: $16 AK too dangerous with a c-bet?
Okay but why 2/3? If you refer to the article (and Harrington) 1/2 is just as effective as 2/3, and allows you much better odds. Would an opponent really fold to 2/3 what he will call to 1/2? What is the logic that supports a 2/3 PSB?

Re: $16 AK too dangerous with a c-bet?
As played the turn and river are fine.
Against One opponent i would normally c-bet this spot. Anywhere between t140-t160. A c-bet is better then a check-behind as you may get him to fold mid pocket pairs and the fact that you also have 2 overcards to the board. |

Re: $16 AK too dangerous with a c-bet?
You're better off betting the flop and checking the turn than the other way around. The fact that he's tight is even more reason to cbet.

I might be checking river unless I know villian is fishy.
