I try to play 1000-1500/month 10-12 tabling. I am trying to figure out if it is worth is to go without the rake back at Tilt and the rake discount at Stars. Anyone know the real answer? Surely others have been through this....

You have to play 2000 16s to get platinum. Platinum is only ~20% RB. FTP is 27% + 73% of the value of your FTP points. Games are relatively even difficulty wise.

$12s on FTP are relatively equal to $16s at Stars? How much of an ROI decrease do you expect when moving? You probably can't answer this question, but it should probably be the deciding factor...

Does this work: Wait until you switch to another site and get your rakeback back before cashing in points on FTP to avoid having to pay any additional fees?

After a long break from sit n goes I am returning to the game. I generally 10-12 table $11+$1 turbos on Full Tilt right now. My question is this; If I get 29% rakeback on Full Tilt should I continue to play there, or are the $15+$1s at Stars still a better deal because of the rake reduction and hordes of bad players? Also, do VPPs for example make a huge difference? FPPs on tilt suck because if you use them they subtract from rakeback. I guess I just want to know if its wiser to play at Stars long term because of the rake break, more people, and more fish? Opinions?

huh? if you use FPPs at full tilt it subtracts from rakeback? is this right? WTF?

I've never heard this before. I'm looking for info on the site and I can't find anything.

There's a old thread about this, but basically everything about ftp points being subtracted from rakeback is right. It's happened to me several times before. Rake paid does not always equal net rake for rakeback sites. Bonuses/using fpps deducts from rake paid and net rake figure is lowered.

Yes but the negative balance will carry over until the next time you play on the site.
