I've heard listening to Classical music is good for studying and actually ups your IQ as you listen to it. Don't knw about anything else though. I personally don't use music.

I've got a playlist on my laptop that I listen to while studying or doing assignments, I find it helps because I study in a library that is pretty noisy (for a library) and it helps me focus alittle better

from psychology class i've learned that you should study in an environment similar to that which you will need to recall the information.. i.e. study in quiet as you will be recalling in a quiet room... regardless i cant really think when im listening to music so i dont study with it

I always had headphones on when I was doing any type of school-related work.

I suck at doing more than one thing at a time. I can read or listen to music, but not both.

I can only do both. I'd rather do neither than just one. (and yes, I know this is a problem)
