Default Pokerstars VPP

Pokerstars must be giving bonus VPP's in December. I just finished playing about an hour of $1/2 limit holdem (68 hands) and I have 100 VPP's. Guessing that they are doubling them this month.

Don't think they are doubling them for a month and usually they don't double vpp's without informing first.

are you absolutely sure you didn't play anything else in addition to those 68 hands?

Just played a few hands of 1/2 limit to check.
4 hands raked $0.50...got 4 VPP's.

Don't think they are doubling them. Think OP miscounted or something.

I just finished a 5 hour session and when I checked my VPP it was about what I expected

no way stars doubles VPPs this month, that would be pretty retarded. Everyone is going to play a sick amount of hands this month anyway already

Yeah, probably.
I'm going to put in a higher than average month to get to 750k and then be done with the year.

yup, all VPPs reset jan 1st, hence why this will be a sick volume month, everyone trying to make supernova, or whatever their next milestone bonus is

hopefully that means the games will be really soft this month, cuz Im gunna be playing like 50 hours a week I imagine ill fall behind to, so come dec 29th, ill prolly do some insane 48 hours straight session

I think this is more likely a sample size issue than anything. I just played a 1148 hand session and got 525 VPP at $1/2 limit, so that's like .457 VPP/hand, which is a lot more than the .338 I usually get. I did run at like 5BB/100 and 76% W$SD, so there were some big pots (the games were goooood), but it's usually pretty consitant. I think Friday night just yields better booty.

I played 5 hours last night and got 8000. Had it been double, I definitely would've noticed.
