Clearly my ability to lose pots extends to altering the minimum bet. It took me years to develop this skill. When you mean to underbet the pot, you have to go to extreme measures.

Truly I am awesome

Oh and I meant to type in $100.

i know this post could be a level, but i figured i'd respond nonetheless.

1. i assume that your river bet is $100, but mistyped.

2. it looks like you didn't think through villains' ranges when playing this hand at all. the board is draw heavy and scary looking so when both opponents call the turn, it's likely they are on some type of draw.

3. if either opponent is on a spade draw, it's likely that their draw also connected with the flop, suggesting that someone here has either the K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], with the former being more likely.

4. therefore, the river is a clear fold, imho.

5. i am not a big fan of leading the river in this situation. many made hands and bluffs will bet this river if checked to, and only better hands will raise. by betting the river you are announcing that you have a strong hand, and allow your opponents to size their bets well.

6. you should bet more on the turn.

7. also, your assessment of villain seems off. i don't know many hyperaggressive lags who open limp otb.

Not a level. Though I assure you, I see why you think it was a dumb way for me to play the hand on the river

Normally, I think it is wise to check in this river spot for the same reason you suggested, but I felt torn between checking and getting in a value bet, as he is calling down those big bets with so many other "made" hands besides anything that includes a suited King of spades.

So if we check this river, are we folding to a shove either way?

By hyperaggressive, I meant to say (tho clearly did not so must add) that he has been mixing it up between passive and aggressive play, but for the most part has shown down junk.

Thanks for the thought out reply.
