the well: KRANTZ
being as i'm stuck at my parents' house for the weekend, bring it on
"A stranger is being shown around a village that he has just become part of. He is shown a well and his guide says "On any day except Saturday, you can shout any question down that well and you'll be told the answer" . The man seems pretty impressed, and so he shouts down: Why not on Saturday? and the voice from in the well shouts back: Because on Saturday, it’s your day in the well . You may ask me any question about whatever you like. I will answer to the best of my abilities if I choose to answer your question." |

Re: the well: KRANTZ
Any advice from SSNL?
Is there any leaks that you see a lot of SSNL'ers have? What stakes you currently play? Want to give a background story? Any hands you want to share? Be it a nice bluff you pulled off? A sick call? Biggest Pot? Did you have any "aha" moments where everything just started to click? Wanna post some Pt stats? Graphs? Do you play for a living? Going to school? |

under what hero-villian dynamics would you feel comfortable with this. whats your line postflop if you dont 3-bet preflop? Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) saw flop|saw showdown Button ($714.12) Hero ($398) BB ($552.90) UTG ($407) MP ($649.40) Preflop: Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. [ QUOTE ]
what stakes do u play and wats ur winrate? [/ QUOTE ] lately anything from 2/4-10/20, with the bulk of play being at 3/6 and 5/10. back in the good ole days, 5/10-25/50. i have no clue what my winrate is these days. i made 70kish in january playing 3/6 and 5/10, had a horrific february, and besides that play in sporadic stretches. i'm sure half of the guys i've played with since party bowed out think i'm a donkey; the other half one of the toughest people they've played against. example: conversation with good2cu at a 5/10 table g2cu: you're KRANTZ? me: uh huh g2cu: i have a note on you that says bad LAG... and now i'm all confused. i've coached way more than i've played over the past year or so. |

Re: the well: KRANTZ
When you were moving up in limits was there a particular limit you just had problems with ? I.e being stuck at it for a long time and couldn't get over the hump. If so what eventually made the "big difference" to being able to beat it/move up. That is if you did.
What are the three single most important things you learned that you think make you a good winning player as opposed to an average or break even player ? |
