Default a hand from 500 Stars Monthly

I'd like to hear feedback on what is your standard play here AFTER you get raised (not my original opening bet of 2000).

500 Stars monthly (10K to start)
blinds 400-800 ante 50

You are in the cutoff with about 16800. You have 88 and make it 2000. Button who is a regular 100/200 limit player, considered to be a little bit on the tight side, makes it 6600 to go (he started the hand with about 18+K). No history, you just played 3/4 of an orbit together. Blinds fold and it's on you. What about if it's a total unknown?

Tight player repops for 1/3rd of his chips and you have 88, pretty easy fold to me. I don't really want to go broke here, plus you still have ~17BB's to work with. Wait for a better spot IMO.

I say, "Nice bet," and folderoo. You have minimal FE at this point, so you would be pushing in hope of a race.

You could make the argument for a Stop&Go, but I'm not buying it.
