Default Animal in the ceiling.

Well folks, I'm pretty sure I have a new roommate!

The last few days I have heard clawing/scratching in an area where I think the intruder is either in my chimney, or most likely, my ceiling.

I have no freaking clue what to do. I read online, and I've tried hooking up a radio and placing it close to where the animal is and playing it really loud for long periods of time, but that hasn't worked.

Some important info :

- I live on the top floor(2nd) of an Apartment Building.
- I live in Florida(no clue what it could be)
- I'm scared of stuff like this - if I see a spider I freak

So, what should I do? Should I contact the apartment complex? Would I be responsible for getting rid of this guy, or them?

Also, feel free to add some rodent anecdotes in this thead - those are always fun.

There is a good chance you have a squirrel living above. Call the landlord, who hopefully will contact someone to remove the critter.

Landlord's responsibility.

Alternative line: Get a gun and shoot in the direction of the sound until you hear a yelp. After that you'll need an exterminator and a new ceiling.

Stains, drugs, holes in the wall that weren't there before?

Otherwise, F the landlord.

LOL come on! Why don't you call your mom and ask her what to do.

Also, I can't decide to wear brown belt or a black one tonight. My shirt will be untucked and nobody will see it...but still which one should I wear?
