Ray,
I just noticed your new avatar, and I remember a comment you made in the former martial arts forum about beating Chuck Norris. Is there a backstory here, or are you just jealous that there is no theory of evolution, but just a list of animals that Chuck Norris allows to live?

just my breath could melt you in a nanosecond. but you have my permission to find the two posts i made a year or so ago about my runins with the little guy. and put a link to them. only then you will understand who you are really challenging and who is letting who exist.

Chainsaw, petrol, biggest blade you can find.
Khukri as back up weapons (machetes and axes are aweful choices for decapitation). Id wear heavy body armour and a motorbike helmet with a lathing style clear plastic face screen in front of that and face mask behind it. Camoflage and sleeping high in trees is the key to survival, along with a buddy system teaming up with at least one other person, preferably two. Stick to rural areas, and keep out of built up areas as much as possible. Whilst i would carry a rifle/shotgun if available, generally it shouldnt be your only weapon and be part of a full arsenal based on distance and stealth - one zombie and you use the khukri, silent decapitation, probalby using a snare device similar to that used to capture runaway dogs. Low noise, low numbers of zombies investigating. A small group at long distance and a rifle is an awesome choice. Big number, or close quarters and a good chainsaw would carve em up like butter.

How about a bunch of fat people....
...simply surround yourself with fat people and when the zombies come and they try and run you simply stay ahead of the fat people and they get taken down, helping in 2 ways.. ....they would create massive roadblocks for the zombies to get over, around or through.... ....and they would also provide more meat for the zombies to eat, so hopefully they would be full before they got to you.... ...if there simply brain eating zombies, you at least have a road block to slow them down... ...I would also want a sword, knife, gun etc with me just in case...im no idiot...
