Default Best Credit Card?

I use Citibank Dividend that gives you 5% on gas/grocery/drug stores and 1% on all other purchases. You get cash but only up to $300 per year. I tapped out the $300 by Oct last year so I lost a little....I really like getting cash instead of points to buy inconvenient airline tickets. What do you guys use and why?

That's the best I've found.

The AT&T Universal Card is the almost the same as the Citibank Dividend card. Between both, you can get $600. I think Chase offers a card that's basically the same, also.

Last time I checked, Chase had a nearly identical card.

I just got the Citi Dividend myself. I read on a credit forum that someone got a second Citi Dividend second card when he went over the 300. You might want to try that.

Wow, that's allowed? Oh man, I should just get multiple then. I think I'll call Citi tomorrow and see what they have to say about it. Unfortunately, Citi's customer service is about as good as Party's.

Yeah, you can, I have two Dividends myself. If you can qualify as a student, you should check out the Citi mtvU Visa card which effectively gives you 5% back in ThankYou Points. They reduced some of their statement credit rewards so it's not exactly 5% back but I just use the points to redeem gas cards. You get extra ThankYou Points for restaurants, books, etc.

My sams club has a discover that gives 2% on all purchases. I was declined when I applied. Pretty humiliating.

Ok, thanks. I think I'll go get another then. Are we allowed to have more than 2? Oh, about ThankYou points. I don't like them because they aren't worth $0.01 for most of the prizes.
