Default Where\'s Our Statement

Hi Everyone:

I spoke to our attorney yesterday (Tuesday, Oct. 3) and voiced concern that we do not as yet have the promised statement. He appologized for the delays, but has been traveling, mostly out of the country, over the past week, and in fact was going to leave for the airport shortly after we finished talking.

So hopefully we will have the statement up in the not too distant future. But I can not give a definite time or date.

best wishes,
Mason

Hi Mason.

I'm asuming this statement has changed from it's original content since the recent run of events?

Thanks.

Hi boondockst:

I don't know completely. We rely on our attorney in many ways and for much advice concerning this site as well as the publishing aspects of our company.

The original statement was just suppose to address the Poker Player's Alliance. We have now asked him to include anything else that's appropriate given the current situation.

Part of the problem is that it's not completely exactly clear what the current situation is. His firm has as of our conversation on Tuesday not yet analyzed the language in the bill, and of course, the procedures are not yet written.

Best wishes,
Mason

Is this YOUR statement or your ATTORNEYS statement? You act as if its yours but talk as if its his. Shouldnt you be dictating whats in the statement and your attorney ensures that everything is kosher? Somethings seems extremely backwards here...

yeah, it all seems like a load of BS. either way, the statement is useless now so they might as well save the attorney fee and our time.

Hi 1p0kerboy:

I did talk to our attorney about addressing more than just the Poker Player's Alliance. So hopefully this will be done.

Best wishes,
Mason

Mason

You have me confused on this forthcoming statement. Why would you need to consult your attorney with regards to the PPA? Unless you plan to get more involved with them or you have uncovered some super secret dirt, it seems like a waste of your money and your lawyers time. I cant see you wasting money so im guessing this might be good...
