Default 10NL KK - Coordinated Board w/ River Decision

Full Tilt Poker, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

CO: $11.50
BTN: $5.35
Hero (SB): $11.55
BB: $9.25
UTG: $3.80

Reads: Villain is 37/10/1.5 after 465 hands. I didn't have any specific reads on him, he seemed to be a fairly straight forward, average 10NL'er. My image hasn't been too aggressive, but I've definitely have been raising more than most of the table and have been doing a lot of c-betting as usual.

Pre-Flop: K K dealt to Hero (SB)
UTG folds, CO calls $0.10, BTN folds, Hero raises to $0.50, BB folds, CO calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.10) T 5 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $1.25, CO calls $1.25

Normally I would bet 2/3 to full pot here. I thought villain would call with a ride range of which I'm mostly ahead so if he's going to call a slight overbet that's fine with me (is this a bad way to think about things?)

Turn: ($3.60) 9 (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO checks

This is a pretty bad turn card which is why I checked. However I think I might be falling into the trap of always thinking top pair is bad on the turn and I am always wanting to keep the pot small when I shouldn't be. Not sure if that's the case here.

River: ($3.60) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $3.10

Hero???

This river is also a bad card and I'm basically giving up on this hand hoping for a cheap showdown. I don't think villain is making this bet with AT or some other TPGK type hand. I think calling here is bad but I'm wondering how often villain makes this large of a bet with a hand that beats me.

Overpair and 2nd nut flush draw on turn, I am betting turn. Something like $2.50 or so, if he raises I muck. River is the worst card in deck IMO. Check, insta-muck.
