I haven't been there in a while, but a few months ago, I heard they were regularly spreading HORSE there. Is this true? If so, what are the limits, and when is the best time for this to happen?

No, it is NOT a regular game. The only night I really ever see a list is on Friday night. Generally they only have enough people to get the game going, and the game won't last longer than a couple of hours.
When I've seen the game running, it's a $5/10 limit game with $1 ante.

If you're interested, O8 runs daily with a $10/20 half kill game on Tuesday/Thursday. It's $5/10 with a full kill every other day. I don't know why I'm telling you this because the game is ultra soft.

Thanks. I've played that O8 game there before, but it's been the better part of a year since I've been there. Schedule has been very hectic lately.

I'm a semi-regular in the HORSE game. It is not regular like stated, but Saturday night is best chance. Its 5/10. We usually try to change the H to something else (typically Crazy pineapple). I will likely be there this weekend.

I've never seen one. The O/8 games and the 4/8 HE game are the only ones I've seen with kills.

I checked Ameristar's website today, but it doesn't seem to be updated that much. Do they still have O8 tourneys the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month?

Yes we still have the Omaha 8/better tournaments on 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. We have been getting between 30 and 40 players on average.

We are working on updating the website. We just had a big meeting about a lot of things and some positive things are happening in our room and the website is one of them. Very soon the website will be updated and kept updated by our IT Staff to stay current on all of our games spread.

Also while we are talking Omaha, we have been spreading a Pot limit game which is a round of Omaha high and a round of Omaha 8/better on Wednesday nights. The game is 1-2 blinds with a 5 dollar bring in (what the players wanted to play we did not mandate that kind of structure.) It has been going fairly regularly on Wednesdays for about a month.

I really like Ameristar's casino and poker room. However unless I go on a friday/saturday night its dead. Last time there was 1 1/2nl and 1 3/6 table going. I got a seat right away too... Has anything changed lately or are any week days better than others?
