Prior to Bledsoe arriving in 1993, the Patriots were a combined 9-39 for the preceding 3 seasons. His rookie year they got off to a slow start but finished strong.

His second year, with a pretty weak roster his arm and Parcell's coaching got them in the playoffs, two years later they got to but lost in the Super Bowl.

For success starved Pats fans, this was pretty damn good.

^^as a jets fan, i can definitely relate, the frachise was miserable (i think it was 6,3,1 win seasons over 3 years), but parcells came in and brought martin with him...

hard to put into words how happy i was when the team started winning again...

props to bledsoe, he was a bit slow in the pocket, but bad luck also hurt him a lot...very good player anyway...

I've always loved Bledsoe. Even when he did stupid things and choked at the end of games, you couldn't help but to like the guy.
