no, just ignorant. I just read the news. For about the last two weeks, I was surprised about how little Posey was talked about as an option. This seemed to come up pretty quick.

I like the deal. Our bench just got a lot better, I think, and he's even a decent solution for any games Pierce or Allen might miss due to injury.

Guess we are signing Posey? Meh, was never a huge fan of him, but he's a good defender with 3 point range.

[/ QUOTE ]

He's a great fit for this team.

Agree, I think this is exactly what the C's need.

OMG goosebumps reading this article.

[ QUOTE ]
In one drill yesterday, Garnett showed how strong he is. Wearing a belt with a cable connected to it, Garnett was immovable as one man tried to yank him from the post with the cable and Abunassar tried unsuccessfully to steal the ball several times.

The 6-foot-11-inch, 253-pounder also sprinted while pulling a man with a resistance cable. After the drill, a sweat-drenched Garnett made the majority of his free throws while pumping himself up.

"C'mon Kevin. C'mon Kevin. C'mon Kevin," he said.

Pretty sure you're wrong, Toro. Where'd you get that info?

Anyway, single game tickets don't go on sale until the 21st. Not sure how you missed the boat yet. There's a chance I might go to that game. Good reminder to call my buddies back east.

edit: from celtics.com
[ QUOTE ]
Individual game tickets for each Celtics home game will go on sale Friday, September 21 at 12:00 p.m at the TD Banknorth Garden Box Office. Fans will also be able to purchase tickets by visiting Celtics.com or by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX beginning at 1:00 p.m. that day. In order to ensure availability of individual game tickets, season ticket sales on loge and balcony level have been capped, marking the first time this has occurred since the opening of the TD Banknorth Garden in 1995.

also, once training camp starts and more news start rolling in, I'm in favor of a new C's thread.

Agreed we need a new thread, you or GKA start it as mine from last year didn't do too well. Levelled you on the tickets being sold out.
