Default big games on full tilt

Am I crazy, or is the development of ultra high stakes online limits pretty interesting? I regularly log into Full Tilt and see games of 1000/2000 and 500/1000 fairly regularly. There are often big name pros playing the game, but there are also a fair number of people that I haven't heard of. What's the deal? How has this impacted the poker world? As far as I can tell, these are the largest stakes played online and in most casinos.

I don't know why every high stakes player should be known.

Default There are often big name pros playing the game

1. Are there really ?

Does the Emperor have any clothes ? (I, for one would like to think these games are genuine, but I am curious about them.) (Are the games/amounts real ?)

2. Any concern about "house players" on FTP being favored ?

(I am not saying they are, but some of these guys presumably have direct ties to the company running the games. The stakes dwarf the rake, even for a company as large as FTP.)

No need to worry. Since all the action really broke loose only three house players have actually been winning, Dags, Ivey and Gus... the rest have been losing pretty bad.
The stats can be found elsewhere here.

After this hand, Dags sits out and says "hmm, that might be the hand that loses my action". He plays no more and leaves.
