Bad payout structure?
I think so. It's been a while since I went deep in stars $5 rebuy tourney so I was a little disappointed and surprised at how little 11th place paid in this tourney.
With over 2000 starters and $44,000+ prize pool I think getting this deep is "worth" a lot more than $274. Going have to think if it's really worth playing this anymore. Here's payout schedule(top part anyway): 1. $7548 2, $4370 3. $2525 4. $2075 5. $1678 6. $1324 7. $980 8. $750 9. $530 10th to 13th $274 |

Re: Bad payout structure?
it's only a $5 tournament, thats like 50+ buyins..
if you want a better payout then only play the ones that pay 10%. i think the 5r's are like half and half 10%/20% |

I didn't realize it was a 20% payout tourney until I got deep. No one to really blame. I guess they have these because this is what the masses prefer. Edit: It was a rebuy tourney, I had about $20 invested so it wasn't 50+ buy-ins. |

try winning instead of bubbling jk. [/ QUOTE ] Oh, I tried but they wanted me out. I was 2nd short stack with about an M of just under 4 and we were 5 handed and it was folded to me on the button and I pushed with K7o. SB wakes up with AK and pushed over me. BB folds and says he had AJ. I mean wtf, they both got to wake up with big aces 5 handed? |
