rock, the answer might be to play higher live then you would online. if you are use to playing nl5000 at four tables at once with 20k in play, maybe play 50/100 live to keep the juices flowing. Good Luck, i know st. louis isn't that far from you, they have a 30/60 game usually a couple times a week at harrahs, might make a cool weekend roadtrip

Thanks for all the responses. I think a steady diet of jerking off, aderol, and playing 4000 blinds deep is all i need Seriously though I have realized live poker is a huge adjustment and it will basically be like learning poker all over again, from a different perspective. should be fun.

hey, did you make a new account irock, last i read you were berating Aaron Bartley for ratholing.
Also, live is not much of an adjustment after the jitters. I find that playing tired is worse for your game when live than online. Rest up, be social, have a girl sit on your lap, and don't say "sick" after a bad beat/cooler Be willing to chop pots based on odds before shoving/calling an all in (one of the greatest aspects of live poker IMHO).

Just make sure you dont give obvious tells to other people.
The fact it`s a full ring game needs adjustment and there is much more deepstack play since in many games the buy in is uncapped. Generally games play much bigger when its live, especially if there is any straddling, so things might be interesting even if you play same level as online.

Even if you`re bored, dont look like it because its a tell in itself, when you suddenly pick a hand and get interested in a pot.

Excessive haterade in ones diet can cause jealously and spark malicous flames. Be careful to not exceed your daily allotment.
