Re: $11 - Tricky spot with 77
48/17 after how many hands? Take no notice of these stats if you only have a few hands. I would start to take notice only above 100 hands, maybe more.
With your BBs left I personally think a push is wrong. Call for set value IMO. Evaluate on the flop. Stu |

Call. Fold if no set.

I call, and fold if/when you miss your set.

Re: $11 - Tricky spot with 77
I hate calling cause villain is def betting the flop no matter what, and im most likely running into 2 overs on the flop - I see this as a waste of 200, and worse then either folding or pushing.
Edit: Ok, calling is not that bad, but I see it as the lesser of all options against an aggr. player. |

Re: $11 - Tricky spot with 77
call, hit a set and he goes down with AA.
you have good implied odds, you close the action, and you're already in 100. Easy call. Give up without a set though. Btw...I don't know that the numbers actually mean, but if it means hes a lagtard, then push. |

Re: $11 - Tricky spot with 77
Does he usually minraise when he's raising?
If he normalli raises 3BB's then this could be AA-QQ hoping for action. Or it could be a scared PP or any type of hand. 48/17 is very laggy but it depends on if this is over a significant no. of hands. I think I'd just call for set value or fold. Realize that if you push and he calls you are at best a coinflip. |

Re: $11 - Tricky spot with 77
I call and (gasp) see what develops. This means leading some flops, checking some flops and leading the turn if he checks behind, and check-folding all the way sometimes.

[ QUOTE ]
I hate calling /quote] You must hate stacking donks, too. Look, I know he's aggressive, but 77 is not the hand you want to bring to war, especially at this stage of a tournament. |

Re: $11 - Tricky spot with 77
I have no problems w/ any of the 3 options, although I'd probably push the least. If you really think he has AA your implied odds for a set are obviously awesome, but a fold here is fine too.
