Default Filing as a poker pro, what exactly can I write off?

I know I can write off electronics I buy that help me play poker (laptops, internet, etc). But what books on investing? Or what about dinners I had with my parents where we discussed my financial future and bankroll management? If not, what about dinner with my friends where we discussed poker strategy?

-any booze or blow that relaxes you for a profitable session.
-I imagine hookers or masseuses should qualify too.

Buy the book, it's worth it. I wondered about the hookers also.

I would strongly suggest that you consult a qualified tax accountant on this.

If you have even considered playing poker professionally, it is most likely worth $25 or whatev it was. I will find out when I read it.
