Yeah exactly right... trips look great for a while, and many times they hold up. But that was the second time I got stung that day, so I will not forget it for a long time. I mean, what are the odds that one guy has KK, the other K4, two fours come on the flop, and a K comes on the river to totally destroy me? 4444 and KKKK between three players on the same hand...snakebit.

[/ QUOTE ] The far more important question when you're actually playing the hand is "wtf would 2 people other than me find a reason to reraise and cap this river?", especially since your kicker doesn't even play. It's not easy to fold trips but with 2 people going nuts like this it's nearly always correct to do so as it's nearly impossible to be up against 2 hands you beat.
